Introduction
There is nothing glamorous about being a role model reject. There is nothing admirable about a wasted life. This book was written to be an in-your-face warning about the way life has an ugly ending when it is not lived by God’s standards.
The following lines are part of a rather lengthy poem that will is used to introduce each chapter. I hope it will tempt you to read the entire book.
Big, Dumb and Ugly!
They are big, dumb and ugly!
Every story is the same.
They are role model rejects.
Doing evil brought them fame.
Reading of such tragedy,
Should help you count the cost.
They may have done things their way,
But in the end they were lost!
Goliath had a big mouth.
David answered with a rock.
The boastings ended quickly.
Headless bodies do not talk.
Fat Eglon loved a secret,
And his enemy knew that.
The knife went through his blubber.
Death came by filet-O-fat!
Old Jezabel was wicked!
Her black heart was vile and crude.
They threw her out a window,
First a splat and then dog food.
Other failures I could list,
If we wanted to take the time.
But, that’s why I wrote the book,
instead of a longer rhyme.
So get a book and read it!
Take the warnings to your heart.
Avoid big, dumb and ugly.
